Master Classes

An integral part of our Perspectives on Playwriting (POP) program, our Master Classes offer sessions with some of the most dynamic artists working in the American theater.

Classes consist of lecture-style presentations by teachers, sometimes including interactive writing exercises. Each session also includes a Q&A with attendees, facilitated by members of the Playwrights artistic staff.

Our first collection of live digital events ran from April through June, 2020, and we hosted a second series between October and December.

Note that each class runs about 75-minutes in total, and is fully closed-captioned.
